Growing up in a sport-fanatic family has definitely shaped the person I am and influenced my biggest passion; sport and fitness. As a young girl with big dreams, I’ve grown up consistently challenging myself and working hard to achieve my goals. My biggest achievements being competing in Metro-League for Netball and representing both NSW and Australia in Oztag. For me however, being active is more than just a hobby; it’s a lifestyle that I’ve always loved and believed to have a positive influence on my mindset.
I am extremely passionate about encouraging and inspiring the love of sport in young girls. I want them to feel empowered, strong, and resilient. But most of all, I want them to believe that they are capable of achieving anything – that no dream is too big.
I am currently in my second year studying a Bachelor of Journalism at the University of Wollongong. As an aspiring Sports Journalist, this degree unquestionably sparks excitement within me; I look forward to being be a voice for my passions; to report on and celebrate all that sport encompasses.
